YAY!!! More fun... I think...

Steve Jobs spoke at the Stanford University commencement ceremony.
The Japanese take on the new Batman movie.
Someone else feels that Disney should learn from Miyazaki, or they will die.
Turn your Apple G4 Cube into a brand new Pentium M.
Microsoft and Aruba wireless are changing the Wireless industry away from Cisco.
Someone wants to kick the ass of the USA. And I am all for it!

Okay. So. This weekend I wasn't able to run up to Amy's place to visit for lack of funds for gas. Instead I stayed home and worked on some software development. Due to the fact that I sort of lost my data from my old hard disk (bad hard disk, no biscuit), I kinda decided to recreate the entire software project I had been working on from scratch and to redo its documentation as well. Now that I am back where I was before I lost THAT data, I can begin to build up a cache of work on this project. Thanks to the venerable Colin Munroe, I will be able to move this project further and faster than I would have previously. By providing him with per copy royalties on the product, I can ensure that the development runs smoothly, and that I produce a great product here. I also hope to get some help from some old friends of mine to finish the product, and get it on the market. YAY for that.

Now on to even cooler things. Amy decided to randomly surprise me last night and came down from Dayton (Woohoo!). This is good because we'd been kinda missing each other, and hadn't seen each other for a little over a week (sadness). She'll be down here until Wednesday or so, I think.

The girls (Erin, Karen, and Lauren), all came over Saturday night, while my friend Kim was over for some Anime goodness (YAY for Hikaru no Go). We went down to the IGA and bought some drinks (Smirnoff Ice (Red), Mike's Hard Lemonade, and Mike's Hard Lime for those who were wondering). We also got some pizza, but this was only for Kim and I since the other girls had already eaten (Thanks Kim for picking up that tab ;) ). We watched some episodes of
Neurotically Yours, a funny show about a friggin Squirrel. After the girls (save for Kim) left, Kim and I went to watch some Hikaru no Go. And watch we did. Until about 3:30am.

Amy and I will be going over to Chris and Sam's house tonight. Looking forward to some good gaming, and good company. I haven't seen those two since just after Amy and I started dating. About two months I guess.

Yay for our two month anniversary which was on Friday. Something special maybe? Since I didn't make it up to Dayton for her. Damned gas prices.

More from the Giddmeister later. Giddy-up!
